# Work faster with Google Sheets and Excel

Looking for custom formulas for your daily work — copy and paste, and you are good to go

Excel and Google Sheets share about 90% of their functionality so learning/using one is a personal preference. I'll be using Google Sheets, which is free and all you need a Gmail account to start. Most of the formulas will work on Microsoft Excel and suitable if you have exposure to Excel or Sheets to some extend.

If you are an absolute beginner in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet, I would recommend checking my personal favourite Mike Girvin channels on YouTube name ExcelIsFun. He absolutely saved my ass when I started my career as a data analyst.
